Square, rectangle, triangle and circle : the four french DJS of C2C kept a surprise for one week, today their reveal it us. The band released the official video for "Delta" from their first album TETR4 (pronounce "tetra"), made by CRCR.
The story takes place in a very desert planet, actually in a futurist city. A giant tetrahedron, probably a spaceship, comes in the city. The king of the city, a bit depressive, orders the soldiers to destroy the tetrahedron, but the forcefield sends back and kills soldiers. While a madman was gonna face up to the object, the king stops him, then the tetrahedron opens with a great light, without knowing what there's inside the light.
As you can see, the video has got many basic geometric shapes, signatures of the band. By the way, the soldiers are dressed like medieval people, in futuristic city and planet. So, is "Delta" video actually the translate of the name of one of Kaiser Chief's albums The Future Is Medieval ? Apparently it's only just a coincidence.
As you know, Windows 8.1 will officially be released on October 18th.

• SKYPE: now integrated to Windows 8.1 when you install the OS. Same features like on Windows 8.
• PEOPLE : New UI with last notification on the left, social updates, favourite contacts and contacts list.
• INTERNET EXPLORER : Tabs on the bottom when you click right, above address bar ; access in this part of the screen for Frequent, favourite websites and downloaded files.
• HELP AND TIPS : new app for Windows 8.1 to understand the main features and ways to use the OS.
• FOOD AND DRINK : presented at Build Conference at San Francisco on June ; an app for cooking, to discover new recipes, chefs and wines ; new tile icon.
• READING LIST : new app in which you have article pages you want by example to read later, to add these web pages, go on a page in Internet Explorer, charms bar, Share, Share in Reading List.
• SKYDRIVE : includes same UI for "This PC" to show folders and files of your PC like on SkyDrive.
• WEATHER : similar to Windows 8 with a great weather map next of hourly forecast.
• BING SPORTS : new background (blue) for the app.
• HEALTH AND FITNESS : presented at Build Conference ; new tile color (orange, before purple). Allows to keep track on your weight, what you eat, etc.
• NEWS : similar to Windows 8, including a "Get started" to hand on News app features.
• ALARMS : new on Windows 8.1, can be used to announce an event of for waking up.
• CALCULATOR : new on Windows 8.1, a calculator in Modern UI.
• SOUND RECORDER : new on Windows 8.1, to record and save records in .wav format.
The video translates good the name of the song : "Black" for the dark place where the duo is playing, probably a garage, with some lights, and "Sun" for the "hot" and huge sound which give us want to move our head.

The first "ocean planet" ? Gliese 1214 b could be the first of this new category of exoplanets. And for good reason : Japanese researchers confirm the presence of water in its atmosphere.
Discovered on December 2009 thanks to MEarth Project, Gliese 1214 b is a super-earth located at 42 light-years from the Sun. It orbits at only 2.1 million km of its star, GJ 1214, a red dwarf, and does a full tour in about 40 hours. Its mass is about 6 or 7 times Earth's and its radius is 17,000 km (2.6 times Earth's radius).
To confirm the presence of water, astronomers installed a blue filter on Subaru Telescope to measure Rayleigh scattering. Gliese 1214 b presented a low scattering, proving the presence of water. However the atmosphere of the exoplanet could be very cloudy, the next observations will give us more about it.
An other proof that Gliese 1214 b has water : its density is 1.8 (so very low). So the planet has got probably 75 % of water (or ice water) and 25 % of rock and metal (for the core with a 4,000 km radius).
However, because the planet is very close to its star, it's temperature is about 200°C, so it couldn't welcome life.
The BBC give us more news about the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, whose the name of this episode (7.15) which is "The Day of the Doctor".
Earlier, the BBC announced the come back of David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor) and Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) who starred on Series 2, 3 and 4. In "The Name of the Doctor" (7.14) we also learnt that John Hurt will play a unknown incarnation of the Doctor. The Daleks will be here too, but the question is how they found the Doctor(s) while normally they don't know anymore who is the Doctor (thanks to Oswie Oswald in "Asylum of the Daleks"). Add to this the Zygons who only appeared in 1975 in "Terror of the Zygons" in which Tom Baker played the Fourth Doctor.
The episode, filmed in 2D and 3D, will be 75 minutes long and will be screened on BBC One, BBC America and in many TV channels in the world. Several shows about Doctor Who will be also diffused on BBC channels :
• "An Adventure In Space and Time" : written by Mark Gatiss, about the beginning of Doctor Who in 1963 ;
• A BBC Two lecture by Professor Brian Cox on the science behind the hit show ;
• An Unearthly Child: BBC Four will introduce new audiences to Hartnell, with a re-run of the first ever story. The 4 episodes are being shown in a restored format, not previously broadcast in the UK ;
• Me, You and Doctor Who : presented by Matthew Sweet on BBC Two's The Culture Show is to explore the cultural significance of the BBC's longest running TV drama ;
• Who Is The Doctor? : A 90-minute documentary on BBC Radio 2 with newly-recorded interviews and exclusive archive material.

Other great new : Doctor Who won Best Drama Series and the Outstanding Contribution Award during TV Choices Awards on September 9th.

After the era of Mylo Xyloto, Coldplay comes back with a new song announced several days ago, "Atlas", for the forthcoming movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire". The song and the lyrics have been revealed on September 6th.
It's not a song in which we dance and jump (like "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" or "Viva La Vida") but a calm song. "Atlas" makes us think of a few songs of Coldplay's third album X & Y and "Chistmas Lights" with the piano and Chris Martin's voice in master. "I'll carry your world" is the main sentence for the song, and probably for the movie's hero Katniss Everdeen.
